In one sentence: Post-2025 cosmology re-audit: KiDS-Legacy \(S_8\) tightens the \(\sim\!2\sigma\) gap vs corpus-canonical constant-\(P_0\) growth; homogeneous BAO follows null-geometry cancellation (companion DCT-BAO-01); joint 13.1σ / 8.3σ / 0σ figures replace the stale 14.12σ/7.01σ/5.40σ band (which included the retired BAO 5.8σ MISS as a likelihood penalty).

Abstract

We revisit the joint Bayesian preference of Dimensional Coherence Theory (DCT) over \(\Lambda\)CDM after KiDS-Legacy 2025 and DESI DR2. KiDS-Legacy reports \(S_8 = 0.815 \pm 0.018\), in 0.89\(\sigma\) agreement with the canonical prediction \(S_8 \approx 0.831\) (review; under \(c_{GW}=c\)). The previously-cited \(S_8 \approx 0.775\)–0.776 figure was the \(B_s\)-disformal derivation; the retired it as inconsistent with the canonical \(c_{GW}=c\) constraint. A separate temporal Avrami \(P(z)\) narrative was also reverted (May 2026 amendment; see Updates). Homogeneous conformal \(P(t)\) cancels from radial photon null \(\chi(z)\); the legacy large DESI Year-1 background-BAO \(\Delta\chi^2\) targeted a retracted comoving \(D_M\) rescaling map, not a prediction of null propagation (DCT-BAO-01, /observables/bao/). The joint figures are 13.1σ / 8.3σ / 0σ (full / perturbation / BAO degenerate; provisional via Δχ² attribution, full MCMC marginalisation pending). 8σ MISS as a likelihood penalty); dominant downward drivers are KiDS-Legacy \(S_8\) and the cosmic-chronometer per-\(z\) honest negative (\(3.08\sigma\) vs a naive uniform BEC multiplier). The 33-facet named-test tally is 20 PASS / 13 NEUTRAL / 0 FAIL (KiDS-Legacy \(S_8\) reclassified PASS under review,; see audit_fails.py). Calibrated probability bands follow DCT-FND-V2; interim 78–92% figures tied to the reverted Avrami extension must not be quoted as canonical.
